Good to Know

The R36S has two cards.

The system card runs the console — leave it alone. The game card (the larger 128GB one) is where all the games live, and it's the one you'll add to.

Step by Step

Adding your games.

1

Power off and remove the game card

Turn the R36S fully off, then eject the second microSD card (the game/ROM card).

2

Connect it to your computer

Slot the card into your microSD reader and plug it into your Mac or PC.

3

Open the right console folder

Each system has its own folder — SNES, PSP, N64, Arcade, and so on. Open the folder for the console your game is for.

4

Copy your game files in

Drag your game files into the matching folder. Make sure each file is in the format that console uses (for example .iso for PSP, .sfc for SNES).

5

Eject safely and reinsert

Eject the card properly from your computer, then slide it back into the R36S.

6

Refresh the games list

Power on and refresh the game menu (or restart the device). Your new titles will appear alongside the rest.
